This background image first appeared in the Cannabis Culture Playing Cards in early 1998 (1st edition).

In fact the term CANNABIS CULTURE had never been used by anyone before LAURENCE CHERNIAK published The GREAT BOOKS of CANNABIS (aka) The GREAT BOOKS OF HASHISH, Vol. 1 Book 2.

This term inspired MARC EMERY to change the name of his magazine from CANNABIS CANADA, to CANNABIS CULTURE shortly after he saw these playing cards.

Then this photo appeared in the Hemp Culture Playing Cards, later in 1998 (2nd edition). It has also appeared in the Oct-Nov 2002 issue of Cannabis Culture Magazine, Page #68 and was entitled "GET ON THE POT" inspiring readers to subscribe to CCM. It was accompanied with the following text.
